The Northwest Herald reports that an Algonquin, Illinois woman grew frustrated by the amount of time her kids were spending in front of the television and fired multiple rifle rounds at the set. At the time her children, aged 6, 11 and 15 were watching an unnamed Primus music video. In response, Primus’ Les Claypool tells Relix, “”It doesn’t surprise me, I’ve been tempted to shoot at the TV when our videos come on as well. Especially that damn Beaver vid.” The paper does not identify whether the kids were indeed watching “Wynona’s Big Brown Beaver,” but does confirm that the children have been placed “in the care of another family member.”
