Dave Matthews Band to Reunite at Concert for Charlottesville

September 6, 2017

Hometown act Dave Matthews Band will end their year-long hiatus later this month for a special show in Charlottesville, VA as they host A Concert for Charlottesville in the wake of violence in the town.

Slated for September 24 at Scott Stadium on campus at University of Virginia, DMB will be joined by fellow acts Pharrell Williams, Justin Timberlake, Ariana Grande, Chris Stapleton, Brittany Howard, The Roots, Cage the Elephant and other unannounced special guests.

The show marks just the third concert at Scott Stadium in sixteen years, with DMB performing in 2001, the Rolling Stones in 2005 and U2 recently in 2009.

Tickets are free and attendees are encouraged to make a donation to the Concert for Charlottesville Fund. Beneficiaries of the fund include victims of the events in the town as well as first responders, their families and organizations devoted to the promotion of healing, unity and justice locally and nationwide.
