Back on September 24 and 25, the second annual Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival took place in Franklin, TN. Indie folk act Blind Pilot was on the bill and also performed a special version of their song “Packed Powder” inside an Airstream presented by Sixthman, which we are premiering today. Relix first featured Blind Pilot in Relix back in 2011, running a Spotlight piece on the group. The six-piece is currently on tour in Texas and will route up to Colorado over the coming days. Pilgrimage will return for a third go-round in 2017, with the full details to follow at the festival’s website. In its first two years the event featured Willie Nelson, Steven Tyler, Beck, Daryl Hall and John Oates, Grace Potter, Jason Isbell, Kacey Musgraves and Shakey Graves and many others, while donating a portion of each ticket sale to the City of Franklin, Franklin Parks and MusiCares.
