Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder is soaking in this Cubs win, quite literally. After hanging with Theo Epstein to watch the team advance to the World Series for the first time in 71 years, Vedder headed down to the locker room to participate in the longest baseball tradition of throwing a bunch of beer and champagne on each other when something good happens. 

Vedder got his fair share of beer baths, as a few Cubs players christened him with a cold, frosty Budweiser poured right on his head. If you’ve ever had beer poured on you, it’s not the most pleasant experience. Far more pleasant to just drink the beer, which Vedder quickly discovered.
