Today they share a version of “Boe Money” recorded live while on the road with Galactic in 2012. The group tells Relix, “Touring and playing with Galactic in 2012 was an honor and milestone for The Soul Rebels legacy. We’ve been friends and have played with the Galactic cats for many years and Ben Ellman produced us over the years. Touring with them was a lot of fun and high energy. We’ve played on Conan and HBO’s Treme with Galactic as well as on stages all over the country. The live track we’re premiering from our 2012 tour is ‘Bo Money,’ a Galactic favorite.” Tonight The Soul Rebels will appear with Trombone Shorty at New York’s Terminal 5.
