Willie Nelson Cancels Shows Due to Illness

February 8, 2017

Willie Nelson’s upcoming shows in Arizona and Albuquerque, February 10 and 11 respectively, will be canceled due to illness. According to Rolling Stone, organizers at the Desert Diamond Casino and Route 66 Casino are working with Nelson and his team to reschedule. Refunds are available at point of purchase.

The cancelations mark the fifth show axed by the country legend, as he previously removed a three-night run at Buck Owens’ Crystal Palace in California from his touring schedule. Reps for Nelson say he is still scheduled to appear at the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo on February 16.

Nelson, who recently announced his new album God’s Problem Child , is also a nominee at the upcoming Grammy Awards, up for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album for his Gershwin tribute album Summertime
