Stephen Colbert Reveals Musical Guests for Second Week of ‘Late Show’

While the first week of Stephen Colbert’s Late Show will include musical performances from the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Troubled Waters and an opening night tune from house band Jon Batiste and Stay Human, the host has revealed another star-studded musical lineup for week two.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Colbert will welcome The Dead Weather on September 14, marking the band’s first announced television appearance upon the release of their new album Dodge & Burn. On September 15, Run the Jewels will team with TV on the Radio for a special performance. Willie Nelson will handle the musical duties on September 16. Additional notable guests in the second week include actors Emily Blunt, Jake Gyllenhall, Naomi Watts and Kevin Spacey as well as presidential candidate Bernie Sanders and others. 

Late Show with Stephen Colbert premieres September 8 on CBS at 11:35 PM.
