Leftover Salmon will release their new album this Friday, May 4. Once again Steve Berlin produced the record, this time adding an old-school feel by working completely in analog. The group will celebrate Something Higher  with a special CD release show in Boulder, CO at eTown Hall, which we will livestream on Friday via our Facebook page starting at 7:30pm MT. Then on Saturday the group will join Phil Lesh & The Terrapin Family Band at Red Rocks followed by an appearance at Colorado’s The Big Wonderful on Sunday (which will include a signing).

Today we premiere the song “Evermore” from Something Higher. Songwriter Andy Thorn explains, “’Evermore’ started out as a song about our travels as a band. We’ve been so lucky to get to see such amazing places, from coastlines to mountains and all these communities in between. Somewhere along the way, this song became more about my own journey, like when I loaded up my station wagon, left the South, and found myself at home in Colorado. But at the end of the day, ‘Evermore’ is a love song. It’s about loving these mountains, loving life, and loving the person you spend it with.”

Something Higher is now available for pre-order.
