Song Premiere: Kindo (f.k.a. Reign of Kindo) “Return To Me”

January 25, 2018

Buffalo- and NYC-based prog/pop-rock outfit The Reign of Kindo are back with a new album and a slightly altered moniker, as the band is now known as just Kindo and will release their new record, Happy However After. Today, we premiere the album’s lead single, “Return To Me.”

“It had been years since we wrote together when the band started jamming on this idea,” Kindo’s singer and guitarist Joey Secchiaroli says of the track. “I had spent those years using my writing and production skills to realize the visions of others in exchange for keeping a roof over my head and food on the table. I had a sudden fear come over me that perhaps my muse was tired of being abused and neglected. When had I last spent time with her, just for the sake of creation? In this song, my muse is personified as a lover who up and leaves me in the middle of the night…and I’m devastated. Don’t worry. It didn’t actually happen.”
