Acoustic Syndicate are currently celebrating their 20th anniversary and on September 3, Little King Records will release a new album from the group. Rooftop Garden, the group’s first record in 9 years was produced by Stewart Lerman (Loudon Wainwright III, Black 47, Soulive) and is the follow-up to 2004’s Long Way Round. Acoustic Syndicate co-founder vocalist/guitarist Steve McMurray offers, “With the passage of time, if we are paying any attention at all, we see just how fragile and tenuous human life really is. It gives you a strong sense of the incredible importance of community, family and love. These feelings come out in our writing.”
