Phil Lesh Makes Return to Stage at Terrapin Crossroads

Following the announcement that Phil Lesh would take some time off after his bladder cancer diagnosis, the bassist returned to the stage last night to join the Terrapin Family Band during their set in the bar at Lesh’s Terrapin Crossroads. 

By all accounts, Lesh looked healthy and happy as he joined Ross James and company for tunes like “Bertha,” “Whiskey in the Jar,” “Cassidy,” “The Wheel” and a Dead Halloween staple, “Werewolves of London,” among others. Lesh will return to the stage officially on October 30 when he reunites Phil Lesh & Friends at the Capitol Theatre.
