by Rob Slater on August 12, 2014

After a bus accident left drummer Nathan Followill with several broken ribs, Kings of Leon announced the cancellation of a host of dates for the next two weeks per doctor's orders. The band will not perform tomorrow night at Jones Beach and will also cancel eight other shows in the process. Kings is slated to return to the stage August 28 at PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, NJ.

As for the band's scheduled appearance on The Tonight Show slated for tonight, Roots drummer Questlove will sit-in for Followill as the band hits the late night stage to perform "Family Tree" from the group's latest Mechanical Bull.
