Isaac Taylor Addresses President Trump with “When Will We Rise”

February 28, 2018

Isaac Taylor’s debut album Peace in the Valley will be released on April 27. Taylor, a Martha’s Vineyard native and member of extended musical family of Taylors, recorded the album with his longtime friends Andrew and Brad Barr (The Slip, The Barr Brothers) at The Columbus Theater in Providence, Rhode Island. Many of the songs on Peace in the Valley have a political edge, including the track we premiere today, “When Will We Rise,” which is directed at President Trump. Taylor tells Relix, “‘When Will We Rise?’ is a self-propelled song. I was looking for a way to get myself out of the blues; out of the despondency of inactivity. Hop on this song and actively groove against the War Machine.”
