Gov’t Mule to Play Grateful Dead, Allman Brothers, The Band on NYE

November 13, 2015

Gov’t Mule have announced the details to their annual New Year’s Eve run at New York’s Beacon Theatre, which will culminate in an epic, three-set tribute to three of the biggest names in rock history.

After a December 30 show of their regular tunes, Warren Haynes and Mule will play three sets on December 31, with each set dedicated to a different legendary band. First up, “The Allmule Band” will play an Allman Brothers Band set, followed by “The Mule” playing songs from The Band and a final set of Grateful Dead tunes played by “Grateful Mule.”

The band also promises to reveal “many very special guests” soon. Tickets for the run can be purchased via Gov’t Mule’s website.
