DRUMSTRONG and Relix Partner to Raise Money for Cancer Research

DRUMSTRONG Rhythm & Arts festival is teaming up with Relix Magazine to raise awareness and funds in support of cancer survivorship, education and research globally through its annual rhythm gathering.

The offer includes a full year subscription to the publication at a reduced rate of more than 70% off the cover price for all DRUMSTRONG ticket buyers. Relix will donate 10% of every sale to DrumsForCures.

The 3-day annual festival will feature national acts including Railroad Earth, The Felice Brothers, Kopecky Family Band, Chatham County Line, American Aquarium, Futurebirds,Yo Mama’s Big Fat Booty Band, Dom Flemons (Formerly of Carolina Chocolate Drops), Joe Pug, HRVRD, Lost in the Trees, The Mantras, The New Familiars, The Love Language, Marley Carroll, Bombadil, Overmountain Men, Junior Astronomers, Dirty Drummer, Elonzo, Ancient Cities, Super Ape, Grown Up Avenger Stuff, Of Good Nature, Replicas, Sinners & Saints, Time Sawyer, Pullman Strike, The Business People, Cairo Fire, Miami Dice, Caroline Spence, DJ A-HUF, That Guy Smitty, Joel Khouri, and School of Rock.

Located 4 miles south of Charlotte, festivities start Friday evening, May 16 with outrageous stage sets, art & food vendors, a craft beer garden, yoga, KidzFun and some “warm-up” drum circle activity. We have on-site drum and yoga instruction, health expo, vendors with drums, food, and unique souvenirs. Come out and play, drum, learn, dance, eat, camp and show your support.
