Dead & Company Roll Through a Soothing “Uncle John’s Band” on _Colbert_

Dead & Company wrapped up their two-night residency on the intimate late night stage of Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Friday night, just 24 hours after delivering “Jack Straw” for the Thursday night broadcast.
The group showcased their cohesiveness that they’ve cultivated over their short lifespan with a compact version of “Uncle John’s Band” to send everyone into the weekend and into the teeth of their fall tour, which continues tonight at the TD Garden in Boston.
