Zac Brown Band’s Southern Ground Festival Rescheduled for 2018

Southern Ground Music & Food Festival, the annual Charleston, SC celebration hosted by Zac Brown Band, will not return this year as previously scheduled. The event celebrated its fifth year in 2016.
According to a post on the festival’s website, Southern Ground will take a hiatus so that Brown and company can “take this time to focus on the new album, Welcome Home.” The note promises that the festival will return in 2018.
Southern Ground was originally scheduled for May of this year. Last year’s festival featured music from Tedeschi Trucks Band, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Sam Bush, Kacey Musgraves, Bruce Hornsby and more, along with the host band.
