Pitchfork Music Festival Found the Slowest Way to Announce a Lineup

In this era of excruciatingly slow lineup rollouts to keep interest (read: keep selling tickets) throughout the process, Pitchfork Music Festival set the new standard today as they begin their lineup rollout. 

It is, literally, watching paint dry. 

Working with Chicago artist Shelby Rodeffer, the festival will broadcast their lineup announcement one excruciating letter at a time. Right now we’re in the “Festival” portion of the rollout with (hopefully) artist names to follow.
