Looks Like You Can Pencil in Trey Anastasio Band for Jazz Fest

While we don’t have a full lineup from Jazz Fest just yet, it looks like you can pencil in Trey Anastasio Band for the New Orleans festival as Twitter users @bizarchive and @gayanastasio noticed that Cyro Baptista’s tour page includes the upcoming Jazz Fest date.

If all holds true, this would mark Anastasio’s first time at Jazz Fest in three years, as Phish headlined the festival in 2014. This would also mark the first time since 2005 that Anastasio appeared with his solo band, playing one-set before also sitting in with The Neville Brothers during their headlining set.

This summer is shaping up to be a busy one for the Phish frontman’s solo act, as Anastasio will make a trek throughout most of the summer visiting various festivals and venues alike. Around dates at Wanee, Sweetwater, DelFest, Summer Camp and High Sierra (and presumably Jazz Fest), TAB will also tour briefly in those areas, stretching into July.

Jazz Fest remains one of the final major music festivals to not have a full lineup out, but it appears an announce may be imminent.
