Jazz Fest Opening Delayed Due to Tornado Watch

The opening to the festival grounds at Jazz Fest in New Orleans will be delayed until the afternoon, the festival confirmed on its social media accounts. 

The New Orleans area is currently under a tornado watch which is in effect until 3 PM CT. Today’s acts include Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Lorde, Pitbull, Elle King, Maceo Parker, Dr. John, Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes and many more. 

Jazz Fest continued on Friday with performances from Trey Anastasio Band, Leon Bridges and more. Check out a full gallery here.
