Bonnaroo To Host Grand Ole Opry with Del McCoury, Old Crow Medicine Show and More

May 4, 2018

Bringing a healthy dose of country, bluegrass and Americana to Bonnaroo 2018, the Grand Ole Opry will make its first-ever appearance at the festival with performances by the legendary Del McCoury, the Brothers Osborne, Old Crow Medicine Show and more.

According to a press release, the show will broadcast live on Sunday June 10, on opry.com and wsmonline.com, Opry and WSM mobile apps, and the show’s flagship station, 650 AM-WSM.

“Celebrating the rich cultural legacy of Tennessee and the region has been an important part of the Bonnaroo experience from the beginning,” AC Entertainment President Ashley Capps said in an official statement. “It’s hard to imagine anything more iconic and exciting in that regard than the Grand Ole Opry…it’s like the ultimate…a profoundly historic moment for all of us at Bonnaroo and something we’ll be talking about – and building upon – for years to come.”

The full lineup reads: Del McCoury Band, Bobby Bare, Old Crow Medicine Show, Riders In The Sky, Brothers Osborne, LANCO, Nikki Lane and Lucie Silvas.

Interestingly, the Del McCoury Band and Old Crow Medicine Show both performed at the inaugural Bonnaroo in 2002.
