Willie Nelson’s Guitar Trigger Goes For Its Yearly Checkup at Erlewine Guitars

Willie Nelson’s famed axe Trigger went into the shop for its yearly checkup at Erlewine Guitars in Austin, TX and its longtime caretaker, Mark Erlewine, gave an up close look at the iconic worn guitar.
Erlewine notes that Nelson isn’t concerned in fixing the hole in the guitar, which was originally caused by someone stepping on it after a gig, as much as he is the playability. In what looks to be a series of videos, Erlewine makes minor repairs initially and will then examine the tuning in a follow-up video.
