Widespread Panic’s Cover of Black Sabbath’s “Paranoid” Looked Like a Hell of A Lot of Fun

October 31, 2016

From the looks of it, Widespread Panic may have thrown the craziest Halloween party last night at Broomfield’s 1STBANK Center, no moment wilder than their cover of Black Sabbath’s “Paranoid,” the first time played since 1987. For those of you keeping score at home, that’s a long time.

As soon as the tune got going, the venue lights kicked on and confetti shot everywhere, signaling a god damn free for all in the stands. The crowd shot, as you’ll see below, is just wild. I think I see a dude dressed as Fred Flinstone head-banging away like he’s in Slayer.

I like this video, and this cover. I hope you do too.
