Watch: Umphrey’s McGee Throw Out First Pitch, Sing ‘Take Me Out to the Ballgame’ at Wrigley Field

Umphrey’s McGee completed the trifecta last night at Wrigley Field as the Cubs took on the Milwaukee Brewers. While the band celebrated Brendan Bayliss’ birthday, they also had the honor of throwing out the first pitch, singing the National Anthem and leading the stadium through the seventh inning stretch.

Joel Cummins handled the first pitch duty, making him quite possibly the most well-dressed person to ever throw out a first pitch. Cummins opted for the button-down shirt on this lovely Chicago evening, and delivered a slider to the outside that only Giancarlo Stanton would’ve had the lack of awareness to swing at.

The most important thing, surely, is that the Cubs won again, defeating the Brewers 6-3. As Cummins noted in the video of his first pitch, #wearegood.

The band then led the joyful stadium in “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” during the seventh inning stretch. Watch it below.
