The Avett Brothers and Bob Weir collaborated to close out Lockn’ Festival with a number of covers and special performances as they played eight songs together to close out the band’s headlining set. 

Among them, Jerry Garcia’s “Mission in the Rain” as well as Merle Haggard’s “Mama Tried” and some covers that lent themselves well to the Grateful Dead canon including “Going Down the Road Feeling Bad” and “When I Paint My Masterpiece” along with “I Know You Rider” in the encore.
