It looks like we’ve seen the last of the annual Bridge School benefit as Neil and Pegi Young announced that the event will not take place this year and offered ominous, vague statements about its future. 

If this is the end of Bridge School, which hopefully it isn’t, the concert leaves behind an incredibly unique legacy as it brought together artists in an acoustic setting that led to some of the most notable collaborations of the last three decades.

As we look back on Bridge School memories, lets start with Soundgarden’s one and only appearance at the show in 2014 where they played an acoustic set early in the day which included “Black Hole Sun” following a speech from frontman Chris Cornell.  

Later that night, Pearl Jam took to the stage and welcomed Cornell for a duet on Temple of the Dog’s “Hunger Strike.” Watch below.
