Ryan Adams’ European press tour is still ongoing as he charges towards the release of his 19th album Prisoner, due out on February 17. Adams had some down time in London recently and decided, what the hell, might as well play a last-minute show at Treadwell’s Books.

Adams appeared at the intimate store, a place he has also previously called one of his favorite bookstores, to play a few tunes including “Breakdown” from his new album. Watch a clip below. 

This marks one of several solo shows played by Adams in England, as he also played Rough Trade East in London, The Soup Kitchen in Manchester and a couple of solo BBC sessions. 

The day before, Adams also sat down for some BBC Breakfast to dish on the pop-up shows he was playing around London as well as his new album.
