One of the highlights of this year’s Lollapalooza was Paul McCartney’s massive, career-spanning set that included a special sit-in from Alabama Shakes frontwoman Brittany Howard, who joined Sir Paul and his band for The Beatles classic “Get Back.” The collaboration included some back and forth between the two at the end of the song, with McCartney referencing Howard’s native Alabama. 

Howard told the festival, “It was such an honor to play with Paul and his incredible band. They welcomed me with open arms and I’m grateful. Once in a lifetime! I hope they had as much fun as I did.”
