Watch Phish’s Expansive “Seven Below” from Baker’s Dozen

One of the centerpieces of Phish’s brilliant second set on opening night of their Baker’s Dozen run was a sublime “Seven Below” that emerged out of the opening “Tweezer.”

Transitioning perfectly out of a high-energy Type II “Tweezer” jam, the song took a turn in the other direction as the band explored some darker themes to contrast the anthemic preceding song. It’s everything you want in a good “Seven Below” from the sludgy funk tones from Page McConnell and Mike Gordon to the grab-the-bull-by-the-horns arena-shaking guitar from Trey Anastasio to bring the song to its conclusion.
