Pearl Jam’s latest release Lightning Bolt brought the band yet another number one album as well as a sold out tour across the country. To promote the album, PJ released short snippets of interviews conducted by the likes of filmmaker Judd Apatow, actress/musician Carrie Brownstein, professional surfer Mark Richards and former NFL player Steve Gleason. Now, you can watch the entire Danny Clinch directed, 22-minute feature which includes interviews as well as performances from the band. This special originally aired on Palladia.

In other Pearl Jam and Steve Gleason news, the former NFL player now living with ALS was featured on a recent edition of ESPN’s Sunday NFL Countdown. Gleason, a long time Pearl Jam fan, recently got to sit down with the band as well as individually with Eddie Vedder. The visibly emotional frontman speaks candidly about his father and upbringing in relation to this new album.

In addition, Gleason got to introduce the band before their headlining set at New Orleans’ Voodoo Festival. Word is that the former Saints safety also helped the band craft the setlist that night which opened with “Sirens,” a song Gleason commented in his interview with Vedder was a personal favorite.
