Watch Oteil Burbridge Sing Lead in Dead & Company for First Time Ever

Oteil Burbridge promised he’d sing lead eventually in Dead & Company and last night at Shoreline Amphitheatre it happened as the bassist took the lead on “China Doll” in the second set.
On top of the first sign of Burbridge lead vocals in the band’s history (he’s previously added vocals to other songs but never taken the lead), this marks the first rendition of “China Doll” since 2015 and just the second Dead & Company version ever.
