June 29, 2017

Last weekend at Glastonbury, the prodigal son Liam Gallagher returned to the farm to deliver a slew of Oasis classics as well as tunes from his forthcoming solo record As You Were.

For his finale, Gallagher surprised the crowd with his very first rendition of Oasis’ “Don’t Look Back in Anger,” sung acapella and dedicated to the victims of the recent attacks in Manchester and London as well as the giant fire in London that claimed the lives of many residents. The song, which is originally sung by noted potato and brother Noel, became a rallying cry for those mourning the loss of loved ones in the wake of these horrific attacks.

Watch below as Gallagher and the massive Glasto crowd team up for a powerful reading of the Oasis anthem.
