Watch Liam Gallagher Go Toe-to-Toe with a Bunch of Elementary School Kids

Former Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher is famously one of the best celebrities to interview. First of all, he’s game to talk about anything—especially his potato brother Noel, who’s an equally fascinating interview—but really, it’s his brutally honest and deadpan answers that make pretty much any published conversation with him internet gold. And now Noisey UK has thrown him into a room with a bunch of elementary school kids in a battle of “Who Actually Says the Darndest Things?”

Props to Liam, who mostly tones down his usual surliness—and completely tones down his usual propensity for swearing a blue streak—to chat with some inquisitive and absolutely adorable kids. I mean, who can resist a four-year-old with a UK accent?

The conversation begins with a innocent question about Liam’s favorite Disney movie (Finding Nemo, a fine choice), but not much time passes before Noel comes up, prompting Liam to call his brother “naughty” and joke about Noel’s small feet. Sounds about right. Liam also bravely answers an inquiry on his “favorite fart,” calls one kid a “geezer,” gives sound life advice (“If you want to be a rock star, look out the window, stare at the clouds and do loud farts”) and argues with a few of the kids about humans’ capacity for flight and whether Manchester United is “rubbish” or not.

Imagine being told as a toddler, “Sorry kid, the clown couldn’t make it to your birthday party, but here’s a snarky rock star.” I’d call that a win.
