Rob Slater on April 1, 2015

Montage of Heck promises to be the definitive Kurt Cobain biopic, with daughter Frances Bean Cobain at the helm along with director Brett Morgen, the film offers an extremely intimate and powerful look into the short life of the Nirvana frontman. In the latest clip, we see images from Cobain’s journal as he embarks on the journey to discover the name of the band he would helm with Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic.

The clip flashes several options, and interestingly enough Cobain was considering naming the band “Breed,” which would ultimately become a Nirvana song. The choices range from the absurd to the absurdly awesome, so here are the top ten choices.

1. Erectum

2. The Mandibles

3. The Reaganites

4. Labido

5. Drugs for Sale

6. Fecal Matter

7. Window Pain

8. Bliss

9. Cold and Wet

10. Skid Row

Check out the clip below. Montage of Heck arrives April 10 in select theaters and will also air May 4 on HBO.
