Watch: John McEnroe Covers Nirvana’s “Territorial Pissings”

Tennis legend John McEnroe is no stranger to the rock and roll game, as he has played in a band with New York Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist in the past. The goalie himself is quite an accomplished guitarist. Both McEnroe and Lundqvist joined MSG boss James Dolan along with Amare Stoudemire, Carmelo Anthony and his massive contract, and Eagles guitairst Joe Walsh to break the world record for kazoos, or something like that.

According to Sports Illustrated, McEnroe hit the stage this weekend at the Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett, NY alongside his wife, singer-songwriter Patty Smyth and daughter Ava, for a cover of Nirvana’s “Territorial Pissings.” As you’ll notice, the only thing that resembles Nirvana from this performance is the left-handed guitar.

Watch it below.

And now we await Chris Bosh’s rendition of “Eyes of the World” from a Cuban coffee shop in Miami.
