Umphrey’s McGee LD Jefferson Waful has interviewed numerous high-profile artists and celebrities in the past as a contributor to Relix and via other outlets. Now, he has finally met his match as he interviews….himself, in the latest parody video from Umphrey’s. As the group readies for their first headlining arena show in Asheville, NC on February 7, Waful sat down with Waful to discuss the excitement of lighting an arena for the first time (with proper Almost Famous references). Sure enough, the interview was interrupted by Joel Cummins and the usual hilarity ensued.

The short clip is a callback to Jeff Waful +1, a series the LD ran for Relix in years past. The last episode, which aired in December of 2013, was centered around Waful’s travels on Jam Cruise 11. Watch the full episode here and watch the new video below.
