Watch: Jack White Performs Final Acoustic Show Before Hiatus

Rob Slater on April 29, 2015

As of April 26, Jack White is officially on hiatus. For how long, only he knows, but thankfully his final show is available to watch on YouTube following its livestream on TIDAL, which the guitarist owns a partial stake on. White offered up takes on tunes from a variety of his own projects including The White Stripes, Raconteurs and his solo material in an intimate acoustic setting with three of his bandmates flanking him.

One of the draws of this show was in fact the intimacy of it all, as White shared stories about various tunes (including wishing he’d recorded “The Same Boy You’ve Always Known” acoustically instead of electric), other musings and even some jokes. Watch the hour-long set below.
