Rock’s past and rock’s present came together at Lollapalooza Argentina last night as Robert Plant jumped on stage with Jack White to perform Zeppelin’s “The Lemon Song.” The cover has been in White’s repertoire recently and was also included in the former White Stripes frontman’s now-legendary Bonnaroo headlining set.

One can only hope that this meeting leads to Plant getting his wish of going to Nashville and recording with White. Plant previously said in a Facebook chat that he loves White’s “buccaneer spirit, and the way he dodges through the musical horizons. I’d be happy to make a single with him.” Cross your fingers, or whatever it is you prefer to cross, people.
