Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell played his final show last night at the Fox Theater in Detroit as he passed away unexpectedly just hours after wrapping up the show.
On stage, Cornell was his usual powerful self, tearing through Soundgarden staples like “Fell On Black Days,” “Spoonman” and of course “Black Hole Sun.” There were, of course, the heavier moments including Cornell wailing on the Badmotorfinger track “Outshined” as well as the set closer “Jesus Christ Pose.”
