A move that prompted a poignant tweet from the Nine Inch Nails frontman following the show. The Foos rolled through hits like “All My Life,” “Best of You” and “Times Like These” among others. Dave Grohl remarked that he wished he could just play the whole new record (release date yet unknown) but that the new music would serve as a surprise. There are rumors that the band is recording twelve songs in twelve different cities, but for now they are just that–rumors. But it appears as if the Foo Fighters will be back in full force at some point this year with new music and a hefty batch of tour dates.
