Watch: Bob Weir & RatDog Play “Shakedown Street” with Marc Brownstein

Rob Slater on July 1, 2014

HeadCount celebrated it’s tenth anniversary with a special show at the Brooklyn Bowl headlined by Bob Weir & RatDog. Throughout the show, Weir brought out a series of special guests including Brendan Bayliss, Alecia Chakour, John Popper, Nels Cline and more to play on a variety of tunes from his vast repertoire.

One special collaboration came at the start of the second set when The Disco Biscuits’ Marc Brownstein joined Weir on bass. Brownstein, who co-founded the organization, took the stage with Weir–a longtime partner of HeadCount–following an introduction from HeadCount Executive Director Andy Bernstein for a performance of “Shakedown Street.”
