This weekend, the Chicago Cubs called up the heir apparent, the savior, and all-world prospect Kris Bryant to finally join the major league club. To celebrate, Red Bull put out this incredible spot detailing just how much a player like Bryant means to one of the most tortured fanbases in all of sports.

Included in it are Chicago locals as well as the likes of Mike Ditka, Joakim Noah (who calls Bryant a “miniature person” in one of the video’s highlights) and Smashing Pumpkins frontman and Chicago native Billy Corgan. The guitarist details his longtime Cubs fandom, saying he “didn’t have a choice” to become a fan of the local baseball club. Corgan seems amped up about the addition of Bryant, but cautions, “If I give the guy good luck and it doesn’t work then they’ll blame me, like the fucking goat,” referring to the infamous Curse of the Billy Goat.
