The folks over at Sacred Goose (via Consequence of Sound) have compiled 35-minutes worth of artists, entertainers and the like answering the age old question: Lennon or McCartney? While there isn’t an official count, many offer up an answer to which Beatle they preferred, and some (like Alex Ebert of Ed Sharpe) choose to abstain citing their immense love for both. Also of note, Bo Diddley says “neither” and many others picked George Harrison.

The impressive aspect of this video is the wide variety of artists and entertainers featured, ranging from The Avett Brothers to Carly Rae Jepson to The Rock. Sacred Goose notes that they sifted through ten years of interviews to compile this extensive, but not definitive, collection.

Artists featured include The 1975, Goo Goo Dolls, Fall Out Boy, Pete Townshend, Scott Weiland, Sam Smith, Robbie Robertson, David Byrne, Death Cab for Cutie, Bo Diddley, Counting Crows, Jimmy Eat World, Brandon Flowers, Darius Rucker, Jakob Dylan, Keane, Ozzy Osbourne, Wu-Tang Clan, The New Pornographers, Jenny Lewis, Slash, Adam Levine, Motley Crue, Arctic Monkeys, Sex Pistols, The Doors, The Head & the Heart, Phoenix, The Lumineers, Tom Odell, Ben Howard, Rick Springfield and many, many more.
