August 13, 2014

The Avett Brothers have released this 14-minute documentary chronicling their latest run at Red Rocks Amphitheater. Among the highlights from the show include a host of sit-ins from their family members on The Everly Brothers’ “All I Have to Do is Dream” as well as a guest spot from Bob Weir, who opened the show with RatDog.

In the documentary, Seth and Scott Avett discuss playing the iconic venue and how they didn’t feel as nervous as they had during previous attempts as well as what its like to have family members sit-in with them along with the Grateful Dead guitarist. While Seth admitted to being on “opposite ends of the musical spectrum” from Weir, bassist Bob Crawford beamed when speaking about playing with Weir. Watch the full video below.
