Despite canceling a slew of tour dates due to a bus accident that left drummer Nathan Followill in the hospital, Kings of Leon took the stage last night on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon with some help from Questlove on the drums. In case you forgot, Questlove heads up Fallon’s house band, The Roots, who live just a few feet away from the late night stage. The two parties collaborated on a performance of “Family Tree” from the band’s latest Mechanical Bull.

Kings will return to the stage August 28 at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, NJ. Watch the replay below.

Speaking of Questlove and The Roots, the entire cast of The Tonight Show dumped ice water on themselves to raise awareness for ALS. After challenges rolled in from the likes of the Daily News, New York Jets owner Woody Johnson and Justin Timberlake, Fallon along with The Roots, Steve Higgins, guest Rob Riggle and Horatio Sanz accepted the challenge. There will be GIFs on Friday thanks to this.
