Video: Queens of the Stone Age Brave a Dust Storm at Coachella

Rob Slater on April 13, 2014

Queens of the Stone Age took the main stage last night at Coachella for a set that relied on their 2013 effort …Like Clockwork as well as old favorites. In addition to the show, the band also had to fight through a heavy dust storm, with a wind advisory issued in the Indio, CA area yesterday. As Josh Homme commented, “the dust and mud and wind bring us all together.” The Joshua Tree, CA native braved the elements, thrilling the crowd with QOTSA’s eclectic brand of rock and roll.

Check out their full set below as well as the band’s new video for “Smooth Sailing” which chronicles a night of debauchery by Josh Homme and crew.
