Last month The Dawn released their latest studio album, Wooly via Cartouche Records. This new record, the follow-up to 2015’s At First Light reflects the Illinois-based band’s range of influences from the Grateful Dead and the Allman Brothers Band on through Ryan Adams and NRBQ. Today we premiere The Dawn’s new video for “Watch Me Fly” from Wooly. The group, which continues to build a supportive fan base for its improvisational rock more than a decade into its career, tells Relix, “We felt that we wanted a video shot in a local venue by a local filmmaker. We wanted a definite lo-fi vibe—like you had a friend shoot the video—from a fan’s perspective.”
