Antibalas bass player Nikhil P. Yerawadekar will release his debut album with his group Nikhil P. Yerawadekar & Low Mentality on April 22 via 3rd Generation Recordings. On Everything Lasts Forever he “takes stock of all the musical influences he’s absorbed throughout his life and places them together to make deeply groovy, idea-rich songs that are as at home in a pair of headphones as they are on the dance floor. ” Nikhil P. Yerawadekar & Low Mentality will celebrate the new album with a performance at Brooklyn Bowl on April 20, on a bill with Antibalas (tickets are now on sale).
