Lotus visited the Boulder Theater in Colorado earlier this year for a late-summer show at the intimate venue where they dusted off an old fan favorite “Drunken Giraffe,” pulling the song out of retirement for the show. Today, the band shares the official video of that song remembering their memorable night in Boulder, and today we premiere that video. 

“This was a special show,” Lotus’ Jesse Miller told Relix. “Fans from around the country had flown in for the Red Rocks weekend so it seemed like I recognized half of the crowd. With the low stage and no barricade we were set up very close to the front row. All these elements added up to a feeling of being very connected to the audience. Even though we had only previously played Boulder Theater during a 3-day run in 2013, this show felt like a homecoming.”
