Video Premiere: decker. “Blackwash”

November 28, 2016

Singer-songwriter decker., hailing from the Southwest at his home in Sedona, AZ, returned with his latest offering of tales from the hallowed, ancient land itself in the form of Snake River Blues, his sixth studio album. Decker returned home to Sedona to craft the record inspired by legendary psychedelic blues classics like Muddy Waters’ Electric Mud and Chuck Berry’s San Francisco Dues, among others.

Today, we’re proud to premiere the official video of “Blackwash” featuring the scenic backdrop of the region. On the video, Decker said, “We worked and toured almost non-stop the last two and half years. The ‘Blackwash’ video is a three-minute time capsule of everything we did this year to create and share our latest album, Snake River Blues, with people, psychedelics and all. Like much of the record, it’s a song calling out encroaching-type scoundrels and leaving them to deal with their own humanity.”
